Whether you are designing your first website, a mobile app that will disrupt a market, or you are just looking for hosting, prior to providing you or your company an estimate for services, we typically conduct a very extensive discovery interview to get to know you and your project. It is very important to us to fully grasp your project and engage at a high-level so that we can add value to you and your business.
After discovery, depending on the project size, we layout a high-level roadmap with a cost estimate. If approved, we will work with you and the best method and timing for ongoing communication. We feel that keeping communication open and two-ways helps to keep the project on track and allows us to be agile in our development in case and forks in the road occur.
Early in the process, we will provide a limited functionality prototype or mockup so we can start soliciting feedback and make updates or changes early on. The output from this step is usually used by our clients as an initial show-and-tell piece to communicate with current and potential future stakeholders.
After feedback is provided, we will begin back-end development of the project - in other words start to make the prototype functional. We will continue to solicit feedback from you and provide access to a development version of the project. As we progress through each milestone of the project, we will doing testing of the system to eliminate bugs or issues found.
We continue to support all of our completed projects as the customer so desires. While not required, it is typical for our clients to secure an ongoing maintenance agreement that will continue support for a time desired by you.
